The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write PHP in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of the company’s products in meaningful ways. This candidate will be able to test the code and make adjustments where necessary.

They should also be experience in contributing to the whole software design lifecycle.

AltPay, one of the fastest growing and award winning financial technology company, is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager who can work across the entire product development cycle – customer research, UX discovery, hypothesis definition, wireframing, sprint planning, project management and product marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the entire vision and delivery of new products, features to keep the business relevant and competitive.
Conduct market and customer research to identify potential features or releases.
Manage the roadmap, prioritize product opportunities, refine feature ideas and maintain existing features to drive business goals.
Maintain and update existing features.
Produce high-level product requirements, iterate with your design and engineering teams.
Engage stakeholders in leadership, research, data, and support, and a coordinate across teams to maintain product and strategy alignment.
Coordinate go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Technical background will be a plus.
5+ years’ experience in fintech product management and market strategy.
Relevant experience in a Fintech Company, especially in the Card Global Acquiring.
Well-versed with Fintech Innovations in the European and UK markets.
Proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
High energy, hands-on, detailed-oriented and able to work independently.
High degree of self-initiative, proactive and self-driven to drive results.

Responsibilities:

• Timely, efficient, and accurate Due Diligence (DD) checks of new and existing customers, ensuring records are accurate in all systems and that supporting documentation is scanned and filed correctly within agreed timelines.
• Performing PEP, Sanction as well as Adverse Media checks and analysing the results to eliminate or confirm matches.
• Monitoring clients and transactions by investigating alerts generated within the monitoring system.
• Preparing responses to partner-bank inquiries.
• Identifying and reporting suspicious transactions and activities.
• Undertaking additional compliance-related tasks as necessary.

Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of KYC/AML/Sanctions/Financial Crime fundamentals with at least 2+ years experience in a similar position
• Understanding of the onboarding process for legal entities;
• Legal and regulatory knowledge UK, EU
• Have the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly without error.
• Well organised with excellent time management skills.
• Suitable interpersonal skills: trustworthiness, ability to maintain confidentiality and to manage sensitive information;
